Your Homework Assignments
IF YOU ARE ABSENT:
If work was due the day you were absent from school, you must turn it in to Mr. Mach on the FIRST DAY YOU RETURN TO SCHOOL. Work that you missed while absent must be turned in to Mr. Mach on the SECOND day you return to school.
For example, let's say you were absent Tuesday. When you come back to school on Wednesday, you will hand in homework that was due Tuesday. On Thursday you will hand in both the homework that was due Wednesday and the one due Thursday. Now you are caught up!
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TURN IN WORK ON TIME!
Everyday Homework: The Four Steps
Step 1. Write a sentence about something that happened to you today.
Step 2. Read your 
for 20 minutes or more.
Step 3. Write a sentence about one thing that happened in the story.
Step 4. Bring your back to class.
Special Projects and Assignments:
Due Thursday, September 3 - Visit Mr. Mach's website and print out the classroom rules you copied down in class. Sign your name on the printed out copy, get it signed by your parents and return to Mr. Mach.
Due Tuesday, September 8 - Bring all of the supplies listed on the For Parents page to class.
Test Friday, September 18- Test on short story entitled, Seventh Grade and its vocabulary words
